Jenni Deamer was once told “draw what you know and love.” Her home on a secluded 16 acres has been shared with her husband and as many dogs as she can handle for over 25 years. The home and surroundings are constant reminders of her rural heritage and the land she loves. Her art evolves from these subjects.
Jenni holds an Art Ed. degree from Indiana University and an M.A. degree in art from the University of Louisville. Her oil and pastel paintings have been exhibited internationally and she has placed work in several corporate and private collections.
Jenni’s pastel images have won awards in the Tulane University’s “Animals in Art” show and the American Kennel Club’s annual “Art at the Dog show” Her paintings have been exhibited in the American Kennel Club Museum.
She began working in clay in 2009. After showing clay sculpture in the Water Tower Regional in 2010, she has completed numerous commissions for private collectors in the Louisville area.
